Laura Michelle Owens has claimed to have epilepsy since 2017. She has had multiple stories to explain how she got her epilepsy. Laura Owens is a competitive horse jumper and has a history of falling off of horses. She has blamed her epilepsy on a Uber car accident as well as domestic violence, despite having a history of TBI’s from her jumping career.

Laura was competing in a horse jumping competition and she fell off of her horse.
Text Messages (12/10/2016):
Ronn Owens texted Mike “Please also remember she suffered a concussion last week and between that and the pills she is not herself”
Ronn sent this message in an attempt to convince Mike to “save” Laura as she was threatening to harm herself.
Uber Accident (4/6/2017):
Laura was in an Uber accident. 1 year later, she filed a lawsuit for injuries she sustained in the accident. Laura eventually settled with Uber. No medical records were included in the public court documents.

Around the time of the Uber accident, Laura Michelle Owens was competing in multiple horse jumping competitions.

Laura Michelle Owens was involved in a car accident on April 6, 2017 while riding in an Uber. The injuries she claims she got from this accident did not prevent her from competing in this horse jumping competition.

Seizure (4/26/2017):
In a text message dated 5/1/17 to Mike Marraccini, Laura says that she “had a seizure on Wednesday night and I’ve never had one in my life.”
Laura was at a horse jumping competition from 4/26/17 - 4/30/17
She continues “I hit my head so hard that I was knocked out cold for more than a minute. Apparently that just takes the lawsuit into a new stratosphere.”
Later saying that her lawyer says this seizure was likely caused by the Uber accident.

5 days after meeting with the neurologist, Laura Michelle Owens had a follow up appointment where she informed the doctor that she was 22 weeks pregnant.
